On the State Street steps and walk up the the Capitol in Madison, the firefighters honored the 146 individuals who died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire 100 years ago. Look at the ages of those people. It was a very moving tribute. :cry:

7. Solid Kick...When I was a Shop Steward, (SEIU Local 6 Seattle)..

On Labor Day, and before negotiations, we would discuss the TSW disaster, (as well as other situations that eventually gave Unions power in this country). It was always heartbreaking to do, but it steeled our resolve when we went into negotiations.

I condemn those that would have us return to the nightmare of those days...and praise those that have held up under what the WI legislature has done. Recall is too good...send them out on a rail after tar and feathering. They are psychopaths, hell-bent on setting the stage for the untimely deaths of others.

I'll pry open the gates of hell for them.

We just got home from another day at the Capitol - exercising our First Amendment Rights. I just wanted to thank you for your comments that help to remind us all that we must not give up this battle.
