Nonagenarian granny wants a big sloppy smooch, is rebuffed, shoots at 53 year old neighbor
(Reuters) - Helen Staudinger, 92, wanted a kiss.

But authorities say after her 53-year-old neighbor refused, the central Florida woman aimed a semi-automatic pistol at his house and fired four times.

"If my head would have been over just a little bit further, (a bullet) probably would have hit me in the back of the head," the neighbor, Dwight Bettner, told Reuters.

Staudinger remained in jail on Tuesday, a day after being arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into a dwelling. Her next court date is April 26.

Hmmm...well...have to say from her mugshot, that it looks like great-great-granny really hasn't got much in the way of lips left to kiss with anyway, IMO.

5. From a few days ago, I don't believe him.
She said in a statement that he had stiffed her for the meals that they were supposed to split. The way I understood it he refused to pay his share of the meal ticket. Sounds to me like the 'Fat Slob' got what was coming to him. But, thats just my humble opinion.

7. Shooting a semiautomatic pistol in his direction is no way to settle up a meal ticket.

she could maybe have sued him in small claims court, or both perhaps had agreed to settle the dispute on Judge Judy's TV show. Too late now, obviously. She may be telling the truth, but why would he even bother to lie and tell the cops that she wanted a kiss? She gets jailed and prosecuted for firing the gun at him anyway.

"Staudinger told the deputy she had gone next door to talk with her friend, but he wanted her to leave. She said although Bettner had a girlfriend, she was not going to leave the house until he gave her a kiss. They argued, Staudinger said, and she left his home in anger, grabbed the gun and went back to the house and fired several shots.

Staudinger told the Star-Banner reporter, however, that the reason she went to Bettner's home was because he owed her money from the times they went out to eat.

"The more I thought about it, the madder I got," she said.

She denied asking for a kiss before leaving.

She did say the weapon belonged to her."

I would really want to see a complete neurological workup before forming any opinion whatsoever.
