Thursday night in the SF Bay Area: Joe Arpaio, Joe Miller, 'Joe' the 'Plumber'

Just got off the phone with Maricopa County (AZ) Sheriff Joe Arpaio. For those whose TVs are politically incapable of tuning into FOX News, the self-christened "Sheriff Joe" is a conservative super-hero, the staunchest defender of Arizona's tough anti-illegal immigration law. And yes, he's being investigated by the U.S. Justice Dept. for racial profiling issues.

Sheriff Joe is so NOT a fan of the Obama Adminsitration that he's coming to the uber-liberal Bay Area Thursday night for a fundraiser for a crew called "Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama" -- which is under the same Sal Russo/Move America Forward/ Tea Party Express cheerleading umbrella. It's Thursday night in Montara. VIP ticket: $2012. (Get it?)

It's billed as an the "Evening With the Joe's": Sheriff Joe, Joe the Plumber and Joe Miller, the Alaskan Tea Partier who lost a U.S. Senate race to write-in candidate Lisa Murkowski. No, Sheriff Joe has not hung out much with Joe the P or Joe M.
