There are simply no "pure" blood lines, except perhaps for the mean blood pumping through repukes. And, as demonstrated by solid science, "pure" blood lines are weak, with genetic defects.

Race is a social construction developed and maintained to enable oppression. Racism is the ideology that uses outward signs, largely but not exclusively skin color, to both designate those who are to be oppressed and justify their oppression. But race cannot be ignored because it is one of the most salient and important of social phenomena -- what is important is to battle the racism. The RW is quite adept at using code words to designate those who it wants oppressed, but they are clearly playing all of their race cards.

5. You are right, race is a contrived term. Two whites and one african can be

sitting in a room. The african could well be genetically closer to one of the whites than the other is. Getting to a genetic level is too difficult for most people, so they decide based on the obvious.

Perhaps it's something that we socially constructed, but that construct *exists*. And because it exists, people of the "less valued" races suffer. To deny that race exists is to deny the pain of people who are suspected, prejudged, and punished for their perceived race. It might not exist on a genetic level, but it certainly exists in the real, social world. Racism doesn't exist in a genetic level, either. Does anyone want to argue, then, that there's no such thing as racism?

We can't address the wrongs of racism by saying, "Oops! Our bad. Race doesn't actually exist. Nevermind all that horrid stuff we did before. Now we're ENLIGHTENED, and we realize that race doesn't exist. So you're not gonna need that affirmative action anymore, k? 'Cause race doesn't exist."

for quite some time. To suggest that racism doesn't matter because of genetics is absurd. Racism is a tool that people who want to create division with, use as a weapon to assult a persons whole being. Thus his generational flaw and appearance somehow makes them less human.
