Most of my relatives accounted for, except the ones in Iwate, Fukushima and Miyagi. The survivors' houses are not safe to inhabit. But they are alive. Many are not so lucky.

4. Just FYI...it's repeated at 15 min intervals now. Live on the hour.
Once it's daytime in Japan, about 5 pm East coast time in the US, they've been doing 30 min live, then repeat.

5. Update...now doing very good on site stories.
Just showed 3 elderly people rescued from a car next to a school. No one had noticed that there were people alive in the car...
