Martin Bashir? It is people like him that probably drove MJ to his death. What was MSNBC thinking???

5. Asking Jackson tough questions about his erratic behavior was "bullying"?

I think Bashir is a very good reporter, and I applaud MSNBC for hiring him.

7. No, but shadowing him for 8 months, smiling in his and his childrens' faces
while plotting to rip him apart and twist everything he said to make him look like a monster was.

8. Nonsense. Bashir did his job as a journalist, and if Jackson wasn't up to it, he should never have
allowed the reporter on his property in the first place.

MSNBC has made a great hire.

9. Or the nice guy who gave Diana the chance to tell her story directly to people
Depends on which celebrity your sympathy is with, really. Michael Jackson had the talent, Princess Diana was a nicer person (never had to bribe people to drop lawsuits).

Jackson hadn't exactly shunned TV before Bashir, had he? I think he drove himself to his death more than any interviewer.
