So, O'Keefe releases a HEAVILY EDITED tape about
someone disparaging the Tea Party astroturf, and the MEdia goes balistic again.

When do we awaken? Now? Now?

3. Well, they got a real NPR person quote to proliferate.
Same woman at NPR that did not want NPR personnel to go to the John Stewart Restore Sanity march making spoof of teabaggers.

Her quote within hours had over 2000 hits on google.

5. And the RW pundits that cried fould over the "Koch" call to the WI Gov
are praising this tape. In the WI case the prank caller put the entire unedited conversation online but that was disgraceful. In this case (and others) the tapes are heavily edited to create a false context but that's just okey-dokey. Fucking hypocrites.

6. EDITED big time.
The person saying the most offensive things was the guy we couldn't see.

And I never saw any NPR people getting in or out of that limo. It was probably just a random limo they rented for themselves and took a picture of.

You can't believe anything on that tape, it was too edited.

But I'm sure Obama will cut their funding and lock them up in GITMO because that's what the RepubliCONS will demand.

8. Someone @ NPR tells the truth while FAUX lies 24/7, yet NPR makes the news.
Let's not forget FOX News isn't even allowed in Canada. This is what EVERY MEDIA OUTLET SHOULD CONSTANTLY REMIND THE PUBLIC HERE!

CRTC ditches bid to allow fake news

Canada's broadcasting regulator has abandoned its attempt to change a regulation that prohibits the dissemination of false or misleading news.

The decision from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission followed a meeting last week of Parliament’s joint committee for the scrutiny of regulations, which ended its 10-year bid to get the regulation to comply with the law.

Canada's Radio Act requires that "a licenser may not broadcast....any false or misleading news." The provision has kept Fox News and right wing talk radio out of Canada and helped make Canada a model for liberal democracy and freedom. As a result of that law, Canadians enjoy high quality news coverage including the kind of foreign affairs and investigative journalism that flourished in this country before Ronald Reagan abolished the "Fairness Doctrine" in 1987. Political dialogue in Canada is marked by civility, modesty, honesty, collegiality, and idealism that have pretty much disappeared on the U.S. airwaves. When Stephen Harper moved to abolish anti-lying provision of the Radio Act, Canadians rose up to oppose him fearing that their tradition of honest non partisan news would be replaced by the toxic, overtly partisan, biased and dishonest news coverage familiar to American citizens who listen to Fox News and talk radio. Harper's proposal was timed to facilitate the launch of a new right wing network, "Sun TV News" which Canadians call "Fox News North."
