3. K&R-I wonder if the same people who were complaining about apathy
are now complaining about anger...

Anger is GREAT when it motivates people to defend themselves and their rights.
The right is agressively stealing our country...we must fight them or we are lost.

19. True sometimes but anger is also a way to establish dominence which has
nothing to do with sadness.

10. It can be both what you say and what Will says.
Anger can be both a good thing and a bad thing. I've used anger to motivate me to do certain things I wouldn't have done had I not been angry, good things that came out of my anger. It can also be what you say it is, especially unfocused, unchanneled anger.

anger at the way things are and courage to see that they do not remain the way they are.

17. so was the Trojan Horse-
"Those whom the gods would wish to destroy, they first make angry." Greeks

"To get angry is an easy matter in any man’s power. But to decide at whom to be angry, and how much and when, and for what purpose and how, is neither in every man’s power nor an easy matter. Hence, it is that such outrage is rare, praiseworthy, and noble."
Aristotle

Too many dimwads and manipulators call anger "hate". Quite different, they are.

Anger is the fuel of revolution.
