NJ gives Gov. Chris Christie high - and low - marks
A new poll finds that Chris Christie is the most polarizing New Jersey governor since in at least 36 years.

A Rutgers-Eagleton Poll finds that 21 percent of the state's voters rate his first 11 months in office as excellent, while 29 percent say his performance has been poor.

The pro-Christie sentiment was weaker among adults who didn't vote in last year's elections.

Poll director David Redlawsk say the Republican has among the best and worst ratings of any governor since 1974.

The poll of 906 adults was conducted by telephone from Dec. 2-6. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 3.3 percentage points. The sampling error for those who said they voted was plus or minus 3.8 points.

Christie has built a national reputation for brashness.

1. This part struck me...
"The pro-Christie sentiment was weaker among adults who didn't vote in last years elections"

I know a lot of fairly apolitical teachers and state employees who really didn't pay much attention and who know have become political at least in terms of what this bastard is trying to do to them?

2. Not a fan of this model of approval rating.
Fair is considered below average in this model. To me, fair is average.

3. We need to recall Governor Christie - why isn't
there a recall movement here in New Jersey.
Anyone want to work on this?
Why aren't the unions working to recall him.
If Davis could be recalled in California, then Christie should be able to be recalled in New Jersey this year.

4. Welcome to DU!
:hi:

I don't know the constitution of NY and if a recall is possible. If it is possible, then by all means, I'm in!
