So now Dancing With the "Stars" has invited Christine O'Donnell to "dance"
Edited on Wed Feb-23-11 06:29 PM by Bluebear
No crystal balls here - former Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell is instead turning to Facebook to decide the fate of her "Dancing With the Stars" status.

O'Donnell posted excitedly on her Facebook page Monday that the show's producers had approached her to be on the dancing competition.

"I just got the Official 'Ask' from Dancing With The Stars !!" she wrote. "Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as 2 year old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!!"

The post garnered plenty of attention, with fans both urging and discouraging the conservative Republican from taking the (excessively sequined) plunge.

"One part of me says go for it. Another part of me says don't because of what the leftists in the entertainment industry will try to do," one commenter noted, adding: "BTW if you do go for it, you got my vote :)"

Is THIS their idea of great TV? If so, they are in deep doodoo.

Oh well, let 'em do it. I don't have to watch. Neither do you....

30. seems like a good choice
conservatives have generally shown they like to watch TV a lot. They also seem to like to watch this show a lot. So it's a no brainer programing move. Do I watch this show. No. So I care not a crap who is on it.

40. Fine. Who cares? There are a zillion flunky reality tv programs to watch
and no one cares about any of them, people just watch for 'rubbernecking car wreck' value. Like watching 'Cheaters' or 'The Jerry Springer Show'. Just because someone makes it to the TVEE Tubes, doesn't mean it is a good thing overall. Just look at how Tom Delay worked out, or not.
