Actually seriously, I missed it because we are rained over here in SoCal. But years ago... with my olderst dearest friend in the world Jeanie King we saw the total eclipse of the moon. She was a treasure. She knew me from when I first moved into my house. that's why I call her my olderst. You only have one or two friends like that.

7. Might have been . . .
but they're not gods, so I didn't pick them.

I have an olderst friend; we've been friends for 43 of my 52 years. Yep, you don't get too many like that.

14. I love that comic for a few different reasons
The first is the obvious "fuck you" to anyone so stupid and literal as to think of "God" as anything other than a human-created symbol for the Divine.

The second is my strong mis-reading that wants to shout "Yes, yes! God is IN you, the spark of creation and universal love that drives the stars through the cosmos and binds all things together is right there in you!"

Kind of a evoking/invoking type of thing, I guess.

Thanks!

You guys owe me..."Big Time" What would you have done if I hadn't dropped to my knees and prayed for it to come back? It would be really dark every single night...
