Can someone tell me why people that want smaller less obtrusive government
as the teabaggers say they want are against the Unions? Isn't this EXACTLY what they are screaming about?

A government that takes away rights from American citizens!

Yet... they want to give government more power and authority to do as it pleases.

No wonder their heads explode. They have too many contradictions in their lives I guess.

2. My opinion is because in a class society
different rules apply to different classes. The ruling class know they aren't answerable to anyone other than each other. Everyone else has to answer to the law enforced by the government, which is bought by the elites. That's why they blame the government when they really should look to where those laws are coming from.

3. Because they want the services those unions provide to be privatized.
They consider them part of the government that they wish to be smaller.

Not taking their side. Just trying to make sense of it.

4. They want to liquidate the assets
This is a hostile takeover. And if we let it happen, our grandchildren will be emigrating to other countries in our lifetimes.

7. That's what I think too. If this persists, I really can't envision educated and talented
individuals looking at the US of the future and saying, "ain't this great." The 21st century is going to provide far too many opportunities for one to stay in a regressive nation. What a shame.

5. Because . . .
Corporations should be unfettered in their ability to exploit natural, capital and human resources, irrespective of the cost to the wider society. Next question?
