New DU Group: Q&A

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in forming a Question and Answer Group. For instance say I read a new bill in Congress and have trouble understanding exactly what it is try to implement. That's just a quick example. I think a place where people could ask political questions and other members could answer them would be very useful. Anyone else interested in forming such a group according to How to Suggest a DU Group. We must get 10 members with donor status that think it is a good idea. Then create a mission statement and submit it to a DU Administrator.

Anyone interested, ideas, etc?

1. We do that right in the general discussion. You will usually

get very good answers and links almost immediately to any questions you have. Du is good at that.

Here at Du, there are no stupid questions, only some stupid answers. Stick around and ask a few and find out.

I also think that asking a question in GD is probably the best bet. Hopefully, without too much snark!

At the same time, I wouldn't be adverse to such a group, as many might access it w/o having to ask the same question repeatedly in GD.

14. I have a couple of questions

1. Two ladders of lengths a = 40 and b = 30 feet lie oppositely across an alley, as shown. The ladders cross at a height of h = 12 feet above the alley floor. What is the width of the alley?
