Mike returns LIVE Monday 12/20 to take your calls and an discuss the legislative madhouse as Congress prepares to recess for the holidays and shift (official) control to the Righties . The Democrats still have the gavel for a few more hours, but what can � or will � be done?

The Senate successfully repealed the disgusting and nearly universally-hated �don�t ask � don�t tell� military policy this weekend, but failed to act on the DREAM act that would�ve paved the way to legal citizenship for young college-or-military-bound immigrants. The language and �code words� used by Neocons during the debate of the bill was condescending at best and bordering on racist at worst. We�ll chat about that tonight as well.

And finally, what will become of the START nuclear treaty? Will the party that claims national security is always their top priority allow this important security measure to collapse for their own partisan benefit? Hypocrites till the end, the whole lot of them.

Almost time for the members of Congress to saunter off to their winter retreats, but not before passing a few key pieces of legislation that will give President Obama a merrier Christmas as he can now claim victory in the repeal of �Don�t Ask/Don�t Tell,� improved food safety standards, and the passage of his disappointing tax cut package.

Still up for debate is the future of the START nuclear arms reduction treaty, which will give Obama something of a trifecta if it passes Congress this week. While there is definite good news in the DADT revocation, not so much for most of us who cannot believe the continued hand-outs to the rich at the expense of middle class workers and their great-great-great-grandchildren, who will be financing the tax cuts for today�s millionaires for at least the next century (if we survive that long as a Republic).
