Thank You, Scott Walker
Thank you, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, for waking a sleeping giant.

Thank you for the awesomely uplifted spirits of Wisconsinites from Superior to Kenosha and Eagle River to Platteville, who trekked to the state capital to defy your union-busting grab.

Thank you for the caravans from North Carolina and New Jersey and Utah who came to a small city in the Snowbelt to join the cause. They know this is not Wisconsin's fight alone. They know that in fifty states, we all are targets of a nasty national conspiracy to destroy unions and the middle-class society unions have built.

Thank you for those whose signs proclaim, "Former Republican."

2. Just think the pukes always ultimately over reach
you'd think they'd learn that least of lessons but I guess not.

3. We're having fun watching their lunacy here in Kansas
They are just incredibly stupid. They post most of their plans on their websites. The tea partiers are especially dumb about not remembering the internet is not private. Lately, we caught them trying to plan legislative forums and keep them closed to only republicans. They actually were asking for RSVPs so they could control who came. Then they got all flustered when a bunch of RSVPs came in from people they don't know. They were wondering how to find out if they were Democrats. I was reading that and screaming at my computer screen that all they had to do was search voter registration records. Those are on the internet and anyone can use them.

Just unbelievably stupid.

4. Now you're talking.
You can't keep them from winning some battles when they have clear legislative majorities... but sometimes those loses help you win the war. You can stuff it down their throats at the next election.

Think how many teachers you've heard giving up on the administration over BushIII policies (re: charters/testing/etc). There was a real danger that Democrats would not get as much union support as they need for the next election.

Now? Union members are reminded that republicans-in-fact really are worse than democrats-in-name-only.
