He is spouting unreal shit right now, for an educated guy he is ranting on that this trouble is due to drug runners, religious extremists and outside enemies. He said reports of violence are exaggerated, etc. Next, AJE cuts to a protestor on the phone, over 300 murdered by troops in Tripoli today, they are going nuts on them now.

Military units in Benghazi joined the protestors in Tripoli and died in great numbers along side them a according to this eyewitness on the phone from outside the hospital. No exact numbers, but it is more than 300 deaths in Lybia now.

11. Benghazi unit has liberated Benghazi from the Tripoli troops

It was more accurately reported there was an order from Tripoli to the troops in Benghazi to open fire on the local protestors there. The Benghazi then got into a firefight with troops from Tripoli, had 150 troops killed, and freed another 150 that the Tripoli forces had jailed. The Tripoli troops fled, with many dead among them (150?).

4:30 in Benghazi, jubilant and suspicious at the same time. The Ghaddafi's son's address was taped 2 days ago, and now no one knows the status of the regime. Ghaddafi is rumored to be psychotic and not making really good decisions right now. A couple of satellite TV stations have been liberated from Ghaddafi's government's control. There is a lot of confusion as to what the army will be able to do next. The scenes shown by Ghaddafi's government of his supporters look pretty meager and limited, consisting of about 10 pickup trucks with guys in green track suits waving flags. The same loop was being shown over and over.

It is further reported that the troops that attacked the Benghazi troops and fled may have been from other places but also including troops from Tripoli. Again, they are all gone from Benghazi now, and the last caller from there said no one knows where the army is now. There is nothing happening yet, too early in the morning.

The megalomania of the Ghaddafi family now unraveling and threatening the population, all the while trying to blame all the trouble on some vaguely defined outside forces. Clearly they are unraveling.

It is emphasized that Lybia is not Tunisia or Egypt. The expert laughs at that disclaimer and the obvious regimes in denial that are being resisted by crowds in squares. Change is coming whether regimes want it or not.

Newest massacre in The Green Square in Tripoli occurred tonight after the broadcast of the son's speech.

Back to back massive bloodshet in the two largest cities within 24 hours. Main highways are blocked with the fires of burning tires. It is the Ghaddafi family vs the Lybian people now. Apparently it is only Ghaddafi mercenaries that are still firing on the protestors.
