The following video clip shows the Pipe and Drum band entering the WI Capitol rotunda:

15. me, too!
I sent it to my dad. It will make him cry.

We had a conversation about a year ago where we both said we didn't think we'd ever see this country come back on our lifetimes. This at least gives us hope.

20. One of the tweets today saddened me...
it said something along the lines of:

I wish Howard Zinn lived long enough to see the Egyptian revolution and the events taking place in Wisconsin.

:patriot:

And you're right, it does give us hope.

9. I'm sure they know that it is just a matter of time before they too will get screwed
by Gov. Walker and the WI GOP.

Solidarity is the whole point here. The other side is very good at turning us one against the other. We can't let them do that.

A friend of mine used to live in Madison and we had a long talk today about the events at the Capitol.

13. You mean CNN isn't showing this on a loop every fifteen
minutes? Can you imagine the coverage if the teabaggers did anything even a hundredth as emotional and visually appealing? We would literally never see the end of it, and the talking heads would make sure we knew the context of it and why it was significant. I'm seeking out coverage of WI, and I would never know about this except for DU.

22. Now THAT's a moment-- a slice of America's goodness and spirit
that I've mourned and missed for so long without even being able to describe what it was.
Now I know and remember it's name. Solidarity and common cause. K & R.
