That the rights of people to organize weren't gotten because someone came up with a good idea and everybody said yeah that will be good. They were gotten because people were willing to stand up for their rights, put their lives on the line, and to crack some heads open.

No wonder we are where we are today.

day, it came out with the "th" sound, I usually just refer to them with strings of common epithets so I don't use the word often.
