Wow. Peggy Noonan is one mean hungover drunk...

Andrew Ross Sorkin sought to dispute some of her bullshit this morning on MJ and she leaned back in her chair, narrowed her eyes to slits and snarled "Where did you pick that out of your little...brain," dripping with sarcasm.

Sorkin looked stunned. Joe and Mika struggled to recover...they had been in the middle of a rant on how "reasonable" their show is, compared to Frank Rich on the left and Rush Limbaugh on the right...then Peggy goes apesh*t on Sorkin because he DARED to challenge her (in a nice, but effective, way).

So much for all the vaunted "civility" on Morning Joe!

Rich called him and his show out and the whole faux "No Labels" movement as the bullshit shilling for the Right that it is. Joe can't stop talking about it. He keeps saying "I don't take it personally." But you can just tell he pissed as HELL.

With Noonan's downright nastiness, Rich was proved 100% correct!

Rich's column. Just finished reading it. Normally I read Rich but right now I am in Italy and trying to get back home, so I spent most of Sunday at the Florence airport.
Great column and he nails it. Seems like the Scarborough who I think sees himself as the "rational Republican" spend a lot of time pissed as hell at somebody - and always in the name of being "reasonable."

she had the grace to be embarrassed at least. I hope she apologized too. I call their show the "Morning Bullies" because Joe and Mika regularly demean and ridicule those who don't agree with them. Also, they are too petty and insecure to ever mention Keith, Ed or Rachel's show. The only reason they will ever mention Lawrence O'Donnell's show is because he comes on their program so they can't avoid it.

8. Just last week O'Donnell was goading Joe, saying "I was watching Rachel last night"

when Joe asked him if he saw a particular show (I forget what it was). Joe let it slide, so O'Donnell repeated that he had watched Rachel the night before as he always does because his show comes on right hers...ZINGER! Joe looked "uncomfortable" because you KNEW he wanted to slam her but couldn't...I bet he was peeing in his pants...

It didn't surprise me that Joe was so insecure and ungenerous as to not acknowledge Rachel, which comes across like he's jealous of her. I guess he can't get over the time when they were both on some show along with some other guests and she got the better of him and he lost his cool and walked off the show. He knows he can't bully her or get the best of her in a political conversation so he ignores her.
