Let's make this clear, crystal clear
there is a war in this country... a two front war in fact.

The first front is against all and any organized labor. We really cannot afford to have workers who have rights. No siree, that could lead to things like good pay, and perhaps they will get uppity and ask for more. We cannot have that. An orderly society is a society were nobody says a thing and everybody is afraid of their betters and know their place.

The second front is against women. Them uppity broads should stay married, even if somebody is hitting them... and working, like in the work place? Next thing you know they will want to have a say in what happens to their bodies, they may want an education and demand equal rights.

Just like pesky workers, women who actually do that are dangerous to the social order.

So yes, there is a war, and time for all of you to wake up to it, if you haven't. The goal is to return the country to the glory days of no unions, child labor and women doing cheap work, and no rights. This is the world when the pinkertons assaulted workers for organizing, and only cheap women worked... oh never mind that we cannot afford to stay home... but that is the society these guys want to go back to. A compliant place where YOU TOO will know your place and thank your MASTER for the crumbs, as a good servant (as ordered by god, your reward is in the beyond) should do.

Now that is the simplest way of putting it. It matters, pay attention and be ready to join the fight once again. After all, those rights you do not fight for, are surrendered and somebody else will have to fight for them in the future.

1. it's a class war, and it's going hot I think....
In a way, I look forward to that. I mean, it's time we all ante up and put our cards on the table. We need to know who our allies are and who they aren't.

4. And although it could lead to more justice with compassion.
Do you really think that will correct the beer and travel money that is due?

That could have been corrected years ago.

So lets stay on topic, although maybe that is some form of enforcement,

But either way, I am still due beer and travel money and many experiences.

5. Your right, it is a class war, and large corporations are trying to
control all aspects that they can, including, but not limited to resources, wages, food production, energy and even water supplies worldwide. The time to push back is now.

3. Last week when we were all watching Tahrir Square
everyone kept saying, "How soon before it happens here?" And others would answer, "Nah...we're years away from it. Americans are still too comfortable, not desperate enough. Besides, they might miss American Idol."

But I had a feeling it was a lot closer than most people thought, and that we *are* desperate enough. We've been feeling the water heating up for a while now. I had a feeling all America needed was a catalyst, and that catalyst was the Egyptian revolution. Whatever happens from now on, the genie is out of the bottle...

7. I agree it needs to continue. This is not the country I was
born into in 1941.

9. You're a few fronts short - the elderly, the middle class and poor, children, people of color...
Basically, they've divided us up into every imaginable small group, set us against each other, and are attacking on many, many fronts. Many people fit into several categories, but the constant stream of misinformation and outright lies has them working against themselves, not only their fellow citizens.

Divide and conquer, and all that. It worked for Hitler.

12. It's not a war until the other side fights back
You're talking about invasions, incursions, occupations, etc

But that's the brilliance of the global media repeatedly referring to things like Iraq and Afghanistan as "wars."

Pfft.

13. For somebody using that monicker I am shocked
you do not know of class warfare... but that is just me. After all Marx precedes the modern media by 150 years.

16. A comfortable lifestyle for workers, the core of the company,
is anathema to capitalism. How are you going to continue to pay obscene salaries and bonuses for the "upper crust" of the corporations if you are forced to expend valuable capital on paying workers decent wages and providing benefits that are necessary these days?
