Turborama appreciation thread

Before this last three weeks, I might have seen a post or two of his and might well have responded to one or three. But when Egypt started protesting, he became my DU go to guy for all things Egyptian. Well, him and Al jazeera, but he is closer. He's a Duer and he did way more than all of us combined to help us see what was happening. I will forever remember Turborama for his stellar work on the Egyptian pro democracy protests!

I know it's the weekend, so this might not sail to the top, but gosh, it should, he did just as much as Catherina and Coyote. All while handing worrisome issues on the home front.

We are lucky to have so many who are so good in such a small place (okay, not so small a place, but you know?)

39. Thank you very much! I am deeply touched & honored by your kind comments and everyone's responses.

I'd also like to give a huge thanks to Catherina, LCoyote and dixiegrrrrl - a core group who have all been working extremely hard on this - for all the tireless work they have done/are doing on keeping this historic story alive.

I just took a couple of days off from the news, have been taking in some nature and have finally caught up on some sleep. It's midday here now and I've got a lot of work to catch up on - check out the photography group soon to see what I'm getting up to.

I'm actually speechless and overwhelmed, so please forgive me for my short response and not replying to everyone individually.

Again, thank you very much, tavalon. And everyone else who has responded.
