Egyptian Tragedy.
The will of the Egyptian people defied.

Hosni Mobarak to cling to his office.

Very sad; very tragic.

Egypt will explode.

2. Will there be a riot and where does the army stand?
I figure the army is the key here.

3. Crawl on Al Jazeera says army prevented Mubarak from handing over to Suleiman
Don't know if that was because army wanted Mubarak to stay in power, if they did not want Suleiman, or if there was something else going on.

Mubarak is delusional if he thinks he will be able to keep things under control. Egypt will be in chaos. I feel sick.

4. The army stands with preserving the government
They're not going to allow the entire government to topple. I'm pretty sure they negotiated the transfer of power until the next elections to prevent Egypt from descending into anarchy.

The protesters are going to be disappointed but I'm interested in what the majority of Egyptians think about tonight's events. If the majority of people are satisfied, they Army may well crack down on the protesters.
