Who would have thunk that DemoTex would find a lookout and fire in Georgia - simultaneously?

Yesterday. Morgan County Georgia. I was photographing an old lookout when I spotted a smoke column. The rest was like old home week back in Oregon.

BTW: It was Farmer Brown's failed field burn that started this 40-acre forest fire. Dumb shit.

5. How tall is that tower do you figure?

Last fall we climbed the 45-foot decomissioned fire tower on Snowy Mtn. in the ADKs

6. Guessing 75-100 feet, based on a 6-inch rise and my eyeballs.

I have a general permission from the land owner to approach the tower (owned by Georgia Forestry), with his warning about the bull. The bull was in the field yesterday. So I can't be too specific.
