Pres. Mubarak steals 40 billion dollars
Hosni Mubarak has taken real estate, liquid cash, royal yachts, and has 40 billion in cash and assets hidden away in banks around the world for easy access namely in: Germany, United States, UK, Switzerland, Scotland, England, Dubai, Madrid and other countries. The Alaa Mubarak has properties both inside the country or in the United States major cities of Washington, LA and New York on the finest streets of the land.

His wife Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak and their two sons also are incredibly wealthy and the first lady has another 3-5 billion for her own personal use.
Mubarak’s wealth also has ties to large corporate US interests such as:
Marlboro, Hermes, Mcdonalds, Vodafone, Hyundai, Chili and other large corporations.

It is no surprise that the people of Egypt are starving, jobless and have been robbed of their countries wealth because President Mubarak and his greedy relatives have stolen all from his own country.

To paraphrase an Alan Sherman song, "No wonder why the people are revolting, because Hosni, you're pretty revolting yourself".

that in some cases benefitted some people here as well as elsewhere? If so, a ton of homeless people here should move onto his properties here. Should sell the rest and give it back to the taxpayers.

Guys like this are exactly what the end stage of our system is going to look like. Just a handful of remaining con-men sitting on top of what's left of the country's wealth, and shoveling it out as fast as they can. And they'll wear patriotic lapel pins while they do it.

22. You know.. this sounds a lot like what corporations do here
they have offshore tax shelters where they hide their money, most pay no taxes, buy politicians through "lobbyists" - those high up in the corporations are insanely rich - and getting richer all the time while the rest of us barely make it paycheck to paycheck - and many of us these days aren't getting paychecks because the rich fucks aren't hiring. And worst of all, when we need it most, Obama doesn't believe in creating government jobs so we are well and truly at the mercy of these mega-corporations - slaves to them even - as they continue to outsource all our jobs - revolution will be coming here very soon as well at this rate.

Regardless of the country, how could the leader while skimming off the top of the earnings of his impoverished people attend a Bastille Day celebration and not stop to think about how the fate of the French aristocracy might one day be his own?

I haven't seen the poor in Egypt rise up and defend Mubarack, which is what the elites in this country manage to get away with. It is a talent that few people can master. Which is why the elites in this country manage to be so rich, and hold power for such extended periods of time.

53. I consider this type of news propaganda promoted to stir up those who want to over throw the
government. I worry more about what happens if Mubark goes. Over throwing their governments didn't go so well for the Russians, the French or the Iranians. For the most part, those who came to power after the overthrow, were crueler or crazier.
I am most likely in the minority here, but I think Murbark should stay, at least for the time being, with major changes in the elections and following leadership.
I don't hate people just because they have more than me.
