2. hah
doubt that!

and I really doubt there will be much problem in a month or so when she is set to leave, but then this is kind of new in terms of how technology is involved in these events.

she was already having problems accessing the intertubes, although got a text message out on her purchased-there-last-week cell phone.

3. My prediction: (amateur at work)
Egypt's president will be forced out of office, will be lucky to escape with life. I'm not knowledgeable enough to really be commenting, because I don't know the organization of India's government. I presume there is no elected next- in -line official, the heir was supposed to be the son, who has fled. If there is a widely recognized leader already in some sort of position who would be looked upon by the masses as a successor, then he might serve as a stand-in while real elections were organized. In the meantime, I predict massive disorder and disruption of life in India. There does not appear at this time to be enough military to keep order. Those water cannons are ridiculous. I would like to read somebody's expertise upon India's history and culture to make some predictions.
