On January 23, 2011, the Miami Herald ran a full-page statement sponsored by the Haiti Action Committee in California, calling for the return of Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. The statement is signed by defenders of the poor and disenfranchised, human right activists and prominent figures, including Harry Belafonte -international actor/activist, Oliver Stone, Filmmaker, Eduardo Galeano – journalist/author, Pierre Labossier – co-founder, Haiti Action Committee, Alina Sixto – Fanmi Lavalas, Jafrikayiti, author/Haiti scholar, Randall Robinson- author, Ezili Dantò, President Haitian Lawyers Leadership Network, Minister Louis Farrakhan- Nation of Islam, William Quigley, Esq., Center for Constitutional Rights, Medea Benjamin, CODE PINK, Johnathan Kozol, Reverend Jesee Jackson and Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright.

1. 20,000 women in Haiti signed a petition.
This would be a good window for Aristide to return. With the middle east blowing up and Baby Doc back, maybe it would be difficult for the State Department to devote many resources to blocking him.

... by the provisional electoral commission (which was selected by Haiti's oppressors).

Famni Lavalas is by far the most popular party in Haiti.

And these jerks have the nerve to criticize Chavez for establishing 5% of the public airwaves for public affairs!

They want it ALL. All corporate-spun 'news' all the time. Not even ADS by anybody else!

I don't call them the Miami Hairball for nothing. They are worse than litter box liner. They are the vomit choking your cat.
