Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney: There is no statute of limitations on war crimes.

Our current president has chosen to ignore the countless murders for which you are responsible. He has decided to not look at the torture which you ordered. He has chosen to turn his back on every heinous act that you dreamed up and then committed.

So you both probably feel free and clear. You probably believe that no one will ever hold you responsible for the vast number of crimes against humanity you have committed.

But here's the thing. You should both be living every day of your lives in fear that someday, you will be called out for the criminals that you are. And that you will someday be prosecuted for your deeds.

You may believe you’ll be long dead before that happens. Perhaps. But I hope that neither of you ever loses the mental image of yourself sitting in the docket at the Hague and being made to answer for your unforgivable acts of criminality. And then, spending whatever remains of your lives in cells.

Life seems good to you right now. But my greatest hope is that you are both haunted by what you have done and the price you may someday have to pay. And if there is any justice in this universe, pay you will.

And if our owners have their way, Assange will be tossed into a deep, dark dungeon.

To refresh the memories of those who don't know, Bradley Manning is the American soldier who provided the information to Wikileaks. And he's presently in a deep, dark dungeon.

What if Manning spends 25 years in prison, as did Mandela? The information that Manning passed on to Wikileaks endangered no one. It just embarrassed many in government. Yet, unlike Dick Cheney's outing of Valery Plame, Manning endangered no one.

The information he provided revealed the criminal activities of those in power and those who used to be in power. Unlike Dick Cheney, who outed an active CIA agent with current, critical information on all her operatives, Manning put no one's life at risk. We'll never know how many people died because of Cheney's act of treason. But we sure as hell know that Manning is going to go on paying for outing our exalted "great leaders."

But let's keep Manning in solitary confinement and let's let Cheney walk around free. What the hell. Cheney is a powerful man. Manning is a meaningless peasant.
