Begun, The UK Christmas war has
Red Cross bans Christmas in UK to avoid offending Muslims

London -- Christmas has been banned by the Red Cross in its fundraising shops in the United Kingdom.

That's according to a report in the UK newspaper, the Daily Mail.

Staff at the shops have reportedly been ordered to take down decoration and to remove any other signs related to Christmas because it could offend Muslims.

'The Red Cross is a neutral organisation and we don't want to be aligned with any political party or particular philosophy,' a spokesman said.

'We don't want to be seen as a Christian or Islamic or Jewish organisation because that might compromise our ability to work in conflict situations around the world.'

1. This from an organization that uses a cross as its symbol.
Yes, I know there's also Red Crescent. It was a joke.
