WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has reversed its long-held opposition to many forms of Internet gambling, removing a big legal obstacle for states that want to sanction online gambling to help fix their budget deficits.
The legal opinion, issued by the department’s office of legal counsel in September but made public on Friday, came in response to requests by New York and Illinois to clarify whether the Wire Act of 1961, which prohibits wagering over telecommunications systems that cross state or national borders, prevented those states from using the Internet to sell lottery tickets to adults within their own borders.

It is hysterical, but more so tragic, that these "no tax" advocates would try to convince themselves and the people, that they can control the corruption that comes with the spread of gambling and under current distribution of DOLLARS, big DOLLARS. We know that big money corrupts. We know that gambling is the pathway to underground economy that finances criminal behavior including money laundering, human traffiking and murder. The TPARTY talk about the death of christianity, and all the while use distorted christianity to empower themselves over society and advance these basic human corruptions to seize more money. Our country is in danger from from the hypocrites and fools who would advocate opportunities for CRIME in order to raise revenue.
