Boehner and Republicans follow Tea Party down the rabbit hole

It was just a matter of time.

Their insane policies and political games have finally come to the end of the road. Those Republicans that followed the Tea Partiers find themselves sitting alone this Christmas season. They reassure each other that they are on the righteous path.

From the Bush tax cut vote to the debt-ceiling vote to dismantling Medicare to stopping unemployment, they were on a roll. They would bring this extravagant government to its knees or die trying. But they forgot how much Senators in their own Party like Christmas. The Senators were ready to get the hell out of Dodge and go back home or go on vacation or wherever they planned to go. The House was busy conspiring on how to buffalo the President and the Democrats. It backfired. They were too clever by half.

Now they sit in the rabbit hole, in the darkness, and refuse to light the candle to show them the way out. They steam and pout that they did not get their way. The big, bad, evil government is still alive and Obama is stronger than ever, mostly because of their ill-conceived shenanigans.

i've been outside shoveling a path to the mailbox so i missed it. but it appears that the r's are still infighting.

i don't have a smidge of sympathy for mcconnell. they made him look like poop on a stick. high five that, mitch!

btw, we've got 19" of snow here. hope you guys are spared.
