Bachmann's Book Bombs


Rep. Michele Bachmann's new memoir has sold just 3,000 copies since it debuted two weeks ago, according to Minnesota Public Radio.

The figures "don't include bulk purchases made by political campaigns and outside groups. In the run-up to the book launch, Bachmann's campaign was offering donors an autographed copy of the book for $75."

3. I wish people would pay more attention to these sales figures

not just hers, but all the right's books and shows and products. They all fail. Fact is that proves they are unpopular outside their circle of a handful of twits. Look up copies sold, look up TV ratings. Right wingers do not sell. This means they have no real base.
I'd also offer that a look at the candidate Obama's copies sold tells a different story, before, after and all through the campaign his books sold like hotcakes. There was interest in him, and thus those copies moved.
Americans buy what they support. There is much hope contained in the facts of what sells and draws viewers. Not in the hype from their side. In the numbers.

This explains the whole reason why she is campaigning. Anyone can see she never had a credible chance in hell to even get close
to a GOP nomination. She was just in it to squeeze what she could out the gullible rubes from books and speaking engagements.
