It's not the budget, it's the deficit! Hasn't anyone told them that the deficit can't be cut, it can only be paid off? I suspect that, since Santorum is on record as saying suffering is good for people, and necessary, that 'cutting the food stamp program' means abolishing it.

Are desperate people. That would be the quickest way to reduce us to a third world nation, especially considering how many weapons the population has. I'm thinking we would be one step away from Somalia. That sounds GREAT to the people who forget that they aren't the only ones with guns. There are a lot of military families on food stamps, too.

Who is going to tell our soldiers that their kids can no longer eat? THAT would go over well.
