Dec. 5: Sean Penn film "Gangsta Squad" filming at city hall, forces out #OLA General Assembly
Edited on Mon Dec-05-11 11:49 PM by Fire Walk With Me
#OccupyLA
Sean Penn, Your location person should know better than to pull a permit in the #OccupyLA free speech zone between 7:30-10:30pm. WTF?! ~pj

Edit: Wouldn't have been too hard to contact #OLA well ahead of time and to attempt to work things out gracefully to use the location the one night it was scheduled. Instead of showing up mere days after a brutal eviction, without warning.

1. He cares so much about Hatians recovering from an earthquake
it would be fantastic if he cared as much about domestic issues...

2. You must have forgotten a few things.
He's done plenty - remember Hurricane Katrina? Some people are interested in the welfare of all people, regardless of location. Geez!!!

4. Yep, New Orleans is 100% again now...
Seriously, fuck Penn. He's just jumping on whatever is biggest at the moment then moving on when something new comes along. Get the problem fixed or don't fucking bother imo.

6. Now THAT philosophy makes sense. NOT
If you can't fix ALL of a problem, why bother?

WTF is your problem?

3. Wow, he personally tells the director when and where to film?
Now, THAT'S Hollywood clout!

5. And more than likely 6 months to a year ago too! He should know the future!
(it takes months to get permits to shoot - most likely they were applied for before OWS even began).

8. See my edited OP. It would not have been difficult to contact #OLA well ahead of time and
worked something out. I've seen the facilitation process and GAs, it's not a problem.
