Demonstrations:

Demonstration by students and other residents were held in many of
Idlib’s towns, some were held during the day and some at night. The
protesters demanded a buffer zone, a No-Fly-Zone, and demanded the
Arab States League to make immediate resolutions saying “enough with
the moratoriums; we are being killed,” they also demanded the
execution of Bashar Al-Assad.

Events on the ground:-

Maarat Al-Numan:

• A general strike was held in condemnation of the regime’s violent
crimes and the economical siege it practices as a form of collective
punishment, especially in their own town, but also in all over Syria.

• Security and Shabiha fired on a demonstration, and chased the
protesters using army vehicles.

• Army elements dumped the body of a man at Damascus-Aleppo highway -
Baboulin junction.

• The 32 years old victim, Mustafa Ahmed Aloush, was killed today when
his taxi was fired at on the main road in the town. Also 4 people in
the taxi were injured, one of whom is in critical condition. The
funeral procession for the victim was held today, and the seriously
injured person is being treated inside a resident’s home.

• After they killed Mustafa Aloush, who is from Al-Mawali tribe,
security were on alert, and 7 security cars were roaming the streets
and firing, sounds of consecutive explosions, shelling, and gunfire,
were constantly heard.


-Kafr Roma:

Muhammad Uqda, 55 years old, and the father of a wanted
young man was killed today by an officer at the museum
checkpoint-barricade.



- Tal Kalkh:
The army fired randomly at 2 civilian cars with Idlib
car-plates, while the cars were heading to Lebanon to transport
laborers, the firing caused the death of 2 people; a young man from
Al-Hendi family, and another from Al-Naser family, and serious
injuries to a driver.

- Maarat Al-Nassan:
Elements of the army, security forces, and Shabiha
(regime-sponsored gangs) fired at a car heading to Lebanon, killing 2
passengers and injured the rest inside the car. The 2 killed victims’
names are Muhammad Mahmoud Naser and Hassan Hussein Al-Kaoud. People
from the towns of; Taftanaz, Taoum, and Binnish, and from the nearby
villages arrived at Maarat Al-Nasan to offer their condolences. In the
meanwhile, the Syrian TV called one of the 2 victims,Hassan Hussein
Al-Kaoud, a “terrorist” because he is anti-regime, and they did not
call the other victim so because he is pro-regime.

- Idlib city:
Security forces spread in the city, including the
following areas; Souq Al-Sagha (Jewelers’ market), at the Red Crescent
Hospital, at the complex, and in Al-Khammara Street.

-Saraqeb:
The army forces, with a number of BMP vehicles, were spread
at the olive-oil-press and at the radio station. A helicopter was
spotted leaving Taftanaz airport and heading east to Abu Dhour town.

-Taftanaz town:
Ali Muhammad Masous and Ihsan Umar Ghazal were
arrested at a checkpoint-barricade in Kafr Halab town.

-Binnish town:
School teacher, Mulhem Hajj Qaddour, was arrested at a
security checkpoint-barricade.
