RW Xtians playing "victim card"...again

Funny how the "Happy Holidays" phrase is being twisted into a Christian religion victimization phrase.

"Happy Holidays" is an inclusive statement that does not play favorites this time of year and therefore includes not only Christianity but Judaism and any other religious or non-religious person..

Of course the Christians are playing another mind game claiming it is done on purpose to exclude their poor put upon religion.

What a bunch of selfish fucking crybabies.

1. When the doors to churches
start being chained shut they can start talking about being victimized.

Happy Holidays is not a badge of victimhood.

3. That's just wrong!!!
How can you possibly feel good about yourself for making people feel bad about their birthdays by using the totally wrong greeting? Bad. Bad. Bad.

4. It also includes New Year's, which presumably Xtians celebrate.
What a bunch of whiny creeps.

Especially considering they stole the holiday in the first place.

6. I love the hypocrisy in this.
Right wing funadmentalist Christians are always quick to point out how they're superior and we're the "whiners". Well, nobody on the fucking PLANET finds more bullshit to complain about than the hardcore conservative right.

7. This whole war on Christmas is just a money making
fraud. The Xtian right manufactures a fake war on Christmas, then ask for donations to fight it. What normal person really believes there is a war on Christmas?

8. Because the first sibling to go bawling to mom or dad thinks they'll have the high ground
Of course, over time, parents will get a sense of who uses dramatic behavior to their advantage. Those Christians that play the victim card seem to think that this is the only time of year that gives them political cover. Mostly, the rest of the country just rolls their eyes. Another drama queen.

10. They want to bully everyone into recognizing/acknowledging
their holiday only. When they're unsuccessful they're somehow being persecuted. What egotistical snots they are.

23. Yeah, it's one of those accepted rightwing "truths."
Listen to conservative bias against the ACLU, for example. There are examples of the ACLU defending Christians when Christians are unfairly treated in the workplace or school or whatever, but since such occasions don't fit the rightwing narrative (that liberals are anti-Christian), they are ignored.

20. Happy Holidays = Xmas & New Year's Day
Yes, it can apply to other faiths' holidays as well, but that's what "Happy Holidays" originally meant.

So...given Xtians' objections to "Happy Holidays", are they declaring war on New Year's Day?
