today at the public library, I purchased |
|
Free Lunch by David Cay Johnston, and The Politics of Deciet by Glenn W. Smith for the grand sum of $4.00. Hardcover editions.
Books have never been broken and have no finger prints on the pages leading me to believe they are brand spanking new.
I almost hate to give them away as Christmas presents.

1. I used to love trolling the stacks at my university library |
|
... and picking up musty 100-year old books with the pages still uncut. Of the writing of books there is no end... of the reading, not so much.

opportunity to troll the stacks at a university as the cost was too much and by the time I realized that I could have
done it on grants, I became old.
I do like books though, always have.
