You collected over 300,000 recall signatures in the first 12 days
Source: United Wisconsin

Since the recall of Scott Walker kicked off November 15th, dedicated volunteers have set up shop in every corner of the state. They are collecting signatures on street corners and near shopping malls, they’ve knocked on their neighbor’s doors and set up drive-through recall stations alongside busy roads. They have worked hard through the wind and the rain, the snow and the cold.

We are excited to announce that in the first 12 days, volunteers across the state have collected over 300,000 signatures to Recall Scott Walker. Over 300,000 signatures in 12 days-that is over 1,000 per hour!

Our work is not done yet, so to all of the passionate volunteers who have been collecting signatures throughout the state: Keep it up!!! And if you want to join the efforts, please do so. It can be as easy as printing the petitions and asking a few friends to sign. Or maybe you want to volunteer at one of the recall stations. There are opportunities for everyone!

more than half required but the goal is at least 700,000 or a million.

2. Technically, yes, but in reality we probably need at least 700,000.
We need every damn signature we can get until the deadline.

4. The usual goal, when possible
is to collect twice what you need. That almost always compensates for mistaken, ineligible, or fraudulent signatures.
