#Occupy in Brevard, North Carolina
Edited on Sat Nov-26-11 08:32 PM by StandingInLeftField
Five gentlemen, none younger than say 70 or so, 99% signage on display, lined up in front of City Hall, talking with passers-by. I honked, waived and shouted encouragement! Should have stopped to take a photo, but didn't have a chance.

Brevard is a liberal arts college town, but it was gratifying to see someone even older than I getting it, and in NC to boot!

3. My hometown Occupiers have been looking for a new home.
Originally the small band were told they could camp across the street from the police department (how convenient!,) then told they could not. Now they're in one of the downtown parks (I believe - been away for a few days) and have said they won't be moving.

4. Have very fond memories of Brevard.
I went to music camp there in the early 70's. One of the best experiences in my life. Beautiful area, very kind people.
