"Spoiled, pampered, unfocused, clueless young people who don’t understand this country..."
U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) slammed Occupy Wall Street protesters during a town hall meeting in suburban Gurnee, Ill. Saturday, calling the movement a "well-orchestrated, well-funded, far left effort to disrupt the American people" before admitting that he had never attended a protest.

Walsh, a Tea Party favorite who apologized last week after screaming at a constituent during a similar event, was reacting to constituent criticism of the Occupy movement when he let them know how he felt about it.

"(Occupy is) an anti-American, well-funded left wing effort," Walsh told the crowd, to a mix of applause and boos. He also said the movement was created to "rile up Obama's left base."

From what he could tell, Walsh said, Occupy protesters are "generally spoiled, pampered, unfocused, clueless young people and a smattering of other people who don’t understand this country and are advocating anti-American solutions."

12. My thoughts exactly

They understand that they are saddled with debt to obtain decent educations, in a nation that rewards high-level thieves while paying slave wages to college graduates - if they can even find a job that hasn't been outsourced..

They understand that Wall Street sold 11 trillion dollars of liar's loans and made billions off the sales.

They understand that hard work, studying and doing the right thing are not rewarded in this nation. The only thing rewarded is putting on a business suit and stealing from our treasury while killing people overseas.

And they understand that a lot of them would be doing much, much better if their parents bothered to pay child support.

11. I don't understand this country.... anymore. The PTB have created a financial catastrophe
and cloaked a lot of it in secrecy and private deal making that we on the outside, can only piece together from whatever bits of information we can glean from news stories.

I don't understand how we can now be flaunting our torture. I don't understand how we can hold prisoners at Guantanamo for years without charges. I don't understand how the entire American population isn't rioting on the streets over our grotesque military expenditures, hardware and these damn wars....

There's a LOT I don't understand Joe. Unfortunately you can't explain any of it either so if my lack of understanding makes me look like a "spoiled, pampered, unfocused, clueless" person in your eyes, I think I'll take that insult in stride as a better reflection of your own ignorance, than mine.

14. Hey Joe. Why don't you get out and get an honest job?
Instead of living off the socialized welfare of the voters. While you are at it you can take care of your kids. It was your act which brought them into this world. It is about time that you faced up to your responsibilities and quit sucking on the Government teat.

No one cares what you think, Joe. You're an ignorant asshole of the highest order. And no matter how loudly you scream, no one will take you seriously. You are irrelevant.
