Newt Gingrich to Occupy: "Get a job right after you take a bath" (VIDEO Inside)

The new Republican "Flavor of the week" seems to be Newt Gingrich. Michele Bachmann had her turn, Rick Perry and Herman Cain followed and faded out. Ron Paul has his faction of supporters, but never seems to bridge out to the majority while Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum haven't gained enough steam to make much of an impact. Over the last few years, the Republican party has taken a hard turn to the right with the support of the Tea Party, and even moderate Republicans have been forced to go along for the ride.

As the Republican primary inches closer by the day, conservative voters have looked for anyone to take the lead over the more moderate Mitt Romney. This week, at the Thanksgiving Family Forum, Newt Gingrich decided to cater towards the far right of the Republican party. Gingrich made negative comments towards secular Americans, blaming them for many of the countries problems. The comment that is making headlines, however, is the one that he made towards the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Gingrich complained that the Occupy movement and the "left" in America is what has caused all the problems in the country. What Gingrich doesn't seem to realize is that for every four Americans looking for a job, there is only one available. Gingrich also fails to mention that he never took a negative stance towards any Tea Party rally, even when protesters took guns with them. What New Gingrich and the "right" don't realize is reality. While the top 1% of all Americans sip their champagne and pour endless amounts of money into right-wing think tanks that undermine their voters, hard-working Americans have looked for a better way to support their families. The supporters in the Occupy movement have been looking for a job, there just isn't any out there. As corporations sit on record profits while sending jobs to third world countries to give themselves larger bonuses, Americans across the country have exercised their First Amendment right, and that is something Newt Gingrich will never know anything about.
