NOW with Alex Wagner on MSNBC (newish show) --
She's pretty informed and doesn't hesitate to offer her own opinion or differing facts asking intelligent questions. I think this may be a good show.

Naomi Wolf is on today - I'd love it if she became a regular panel member. Also, Richard Wolffe is there and I always enjoy him.

To no surprise, the Republican-representing woman is irritating beyond belief.

Anybody else watching? Malaise? :7 :hi:

I'd rather see Thomas have his own roundtable type show - I think so highly of him.

1. Naomi Wolf is doing a great job
Until today the right winger woman was getting too comfortable as some sort of queen bee in the usual group. Alex shook it up today with Naomi and Richard. They're coming across as sensible making that right winger appears shrill.

:hi:

3. Hi! Shrill is right. What is with those people? My best friend
Jim has a very good friend who's a Rabid Republican. (I swear I remember an incident when she kicked him out of her car because they got in an argument about Rush Limbaugh but he claims not to recall...)

She's very intelligent, a very nice person, witty, funny - except she's got that teeny closed mind when it comes to Republicans/Dems.

Jim can't wait to get on the phone to me expressing his absolute disbelief at the mind set these people have. It's been several years since he spoke w/her and they're just now reconnecting and none of his other friends are R, so this is just quite the learning experience for him. He's horrified. :7

But back to the show, yeah, I THINK the Republican mouth is the only person I've seen more than once, although I've only caught it a few times.

:hi: :pals:

2. I don't know who that Republican mouthpiece is, but she's been all over MSNBC lately.
She's one of those loud talk-over-everyone people, like a pretty, less irritating Ann Coulter. That Politico goober is also doing a great job of spouting the GOP talking points, telling the protesters to stop camping and come up with something serious if idiots like him will take them seriously. I admt, the show is pretty good. Too bad you and me and about 127 other people are the only ones watching MSNBC at this time of day.

4. Yeah, Ann Coulter came to my mind, too. Insufferable.
Wonder if this woman will continue on that path or become somewhat more reasonable.

They've actually got some Republican "analysts" on who are reasonable and able to view issues objectively ranter than always being on the defense.

You, me, eleny, and I know malaise is out there somewhere :7

Glad to know I'm not alone.

:hi:

7. Frankly, I agree with you
The other day Alex had a panel of four people who sounded like they shared a gallon of energy drink with four straws right before the show aired.

6. Wagner sucks
Her career goal seems to be trashing anyone on her panel who's left of center.

I had to turn the channel. She's that annoying.

8. I hadn't observed that -- her trashing anyone who's left of center.
She may suck in YOUR opinion, but she doesn't suck in mine. But that's always subject to change. :7
