Water leaking onto an electrical panel caused a small fire at a nuclear power plant. FirstEnergy Corp. said the fire burned itself out quickly early Wednesday at the company's Davis-Besse plant outside Toledo. The utility says the fire started when water dripped from a valve onto an electrical panel in an auxiliary building housing a noncritical pump for the plant. The company says there was no impact on safety. The Davis-Besse plant is currently shut down for installation of a new reactor head. A hairline crack discovered in the plant's concrete outer wall amid the shutdown is now being investigated by FirstEnergy.

Otherwise, they'd have spent the money to put in
a NEMA drip-rated panel, seeing as how it was installed
under a valve.
