Fox & Friends Applauds NYPD's Evicting OWS Protesters: "Good Riddance"

November 15, 2011 6:26 am ET by Media Matters staff

On the November 15 broadcast of Fox News' Fox & Friends, text reading "Good Riddance" was aired during a tease about the New York City police evicting the Occupy Wall Street protesters from Zuccotti Park:

1. Not that we don't already know this...
but so much for reporting without editorializing.

2. Would you have expected.........
.....anything except this response? There are some people on the right who are so ugly from the inside out that it actually hurts to look directly at them, and a lot of them work for Fox News.

I keep waiting for the tide to turn in this country -- for the rational, reasonable majority that I know exists to wake up and send these guys back to the lunatic fringe where they belong. They have been a black cloud over this country for long enough.

5. I yelled at it as well.
Perhaps an e-mail to the show is in order.

9. my letter in response-
Introducing Robert Reich's piece you said: "If Wall street was still occupied, tomorrow would have been the two month mark". Well- I, for one, am glad it's over and those that still have one can all go home. One question though- exactly which planet is Marketplace broadcasting from? I'd like to buy a home there.

8. Correction: "If Wall street was still occupied, tomorrow would have been the two month mark".
Still- i got the gist of the quote and yelled something appropriate at my radio, surely!

6. A premature ejaculation (R)
Occupy may change strategergy and points of impact, but until the Massive Problems the Republicons have spawned are EeeeLIMinatEd, the movement will remain...I venture that WE AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN YET.

10. Murdoch McPravda can eat a dick.
"Good Riddance"? "GOOD RIDDANCE"??? This is what passes for journalism?

We went from Ed Murrow and Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather to "Good Riddance"?

FUCK OFF Roger Ailes.

Your channel is an American pox, a fascist joke, a propaganda outlet for the small minded and moronic. Your anchors are useless talking-point parroting asstaps and your commentators were pulled from sportsbar restrooms. You subscribe to a failed script of Reaganomics, bootstraps, wealth fellation and flags. No one but America's most hateful and stupid buys your message anymore.
