1. Isn't Phenylketonurics Nutrasweet?
I do not know if Nutrasweet is safe or not - there is too much disinformation on both sides to make an informed decision

25. I think it's a warning to people with phenylketonuria that it contains phenylalanine
For people with PK (IIRC) that can be a serious problem.

2. Nope, I would not.
IF I really want some extra flavor, I'd squeeze in some lemon juice.

The ingredients in these flavored waters are put in to justify the higher price.

of lemon, lime, or whatever flavor you want!

15. Ditched that stuff 10 years ago
I stopped drinking artificially flavored waters ages ago. 1) for all the chemicals. 2) I realized the fake sugar was just making me crave more sweet stuff. I often went on to eat or drink real sugar at some point during the day.

Now I drink flavored seltzer with lemon or lime if I want a fizzy drink. Cheaper and better for me. Otherwise it's mostly water, unsweet tea and coffee.

if its got phosphoric acid in it like Coca Cola then at least its useful for cleaning old banjo parts.

Aside from that why on earth anyone buys these drinks defeats me anyway.

24. I no longer buy some of those flavored drinks, although some are...
......refreshing. I drink water from the faucet which has a filter on it, because our water has SO MUCH chlorine in it, it smells like a swimming pool. It is also VERY hard, so I use bottled water to make coffee and tea. I recently tasted some water at a house whose owner had a run-off collection system for his house, with all the appropriate filters, etc. and it was the most delicious water I have tasted in a long time. I would love to have a system like that, but it is very expensive. He relies totally on his 5, 5000 gallon tanks for his water needs, including the yard. During our current drought, he has had to almost stop watering his plants outside, though, to conserve his supply.

I'll confess to having an occasional soft drink, and I stock Crystal Geyser and similar flavored fizzy waters for parties, but the recent ads for enhanced waters amuse me.
