"The SuperCommittee exists because Republicans in the House of Representatives treated their responsibilities like chimps being handed RPG's, and it will conclude by pretending none of that ever happened, and that, properly trained, the chimps can make really good soldiers. And, in typically awesome Beltway fashion, they're going to kick the notion of raising taxes so far down the road and into a drainage ditch that, the next time we see it, a turtle will be sunning itself atop it."
