Did the Post Office stop Saturday Deliveries?
I put a package out in my mailbox to be picked up by my mail lady and she hasn't been here yet. She's usually here by 10:00AM. Have Saturday deliveries stopped? If so, when?

1. Try calling your local post office. They have not stopped here. She's probably behind because
yesterday was a federal holiday and they have twice as much crap to deliver. Ours is usually late the day after a federal holiday.

2. Not yet, as far as I know.
My delivery time varies on the carrier. Some do the route differently than others.

I have been expecting something today and the mail has not been delivered yet. You can thank the Republicans for the cutbacks.

They were off yesterday, so maybe a heavier mail accumulation. It is that time of year when the catalogs come in by the semi load.

9. No. The mail came today, and included a check that wasn't expected
for a couple of weeks. Bonus!

10. No. Our mailman comes 6 days a week. As far as picking up the outgoing, well,
he's a complete moron so that part is very hit-or-miss.

11. I got my delivery today
But in the last month or so, I've been getting mail at odd hours, seldom the same. And the regular mailman only makes intermittent appearances.

12. This is just really strange. It's almost 3:30 and she still hasn't been here.
I'll just wait. :) I just don't want to leave my package in my mailbox overnight, if they don't deliver, but I'm guessing she's just running behind because of the Holiday yesterday.

15. Carriers get sick or take vacation and sometimes the fill-in carrier doesn't know the route.
This happens to us about once a year or so. Tesha
