maybe he'd apologize. Remember, she was a firm Republican, and a Tea Party person, and she wanted to like him.

But when she heard about the other women, and realized he was a serial abuser, she changed her mind.

Karl Rove orchestrated the whole press briefing yesterday by Witness #4 because he and other GOP operatives are getting really nervous about Cain's high poll numbers.

Rove may have convinced this woman that it was her duty as a good Republican and card-carrying Teabagger to make up this story and present it to the press, since none of the other women were willing to step forward.

I'm not sure I actually believe this, but it's something to mull over.

She said that she met him a month ago, asked him if he remembered her, and what happened. Although she'd tried to put the whole episode behind her for years, it sounded like she was still hoping for an apology.

And this was a month ago -- way before all these other allegations came forward. So one after another these other stories came out -- and hearing about all these other women, and what they'd been through, she finally stopped blaming herself and being embarrassed about what happened, and thinking maybe somehow she was unique or somehow partially to blame -- and finally got angry enough to speak out.

This seems like pretty normal behavior to this armchair psychologist.

1. Recently, she stated that her 13 year old son said she should “tell on him”. I have a hard time understanding why she was confiding in her 13 year old son, to begin with. But, it is possible. Maybe she felt she needed to come forward to show her son to have respect for women? Maybe. Doubtful, imo.

2. When the other accusations came forward, maybe a light went off in her head. “This guy is a serial groper and is going to be real trouble for some woman...” and she felt she needed to do something about it. The run-in with him was before it was so public. She may have believed she was the only one.

3. (Putting on my conspiracy theory thinking cap) She’s a plant. If she’s proven to be a liar, the others will be more difficult to believe.

4. She was looking for hush money and didn’t get it. Now, it’s time to show the bastard she meant business.

About that picture...his left hand is way too friendly. Maybe it’s because I’m not a touchy-feely person, but in group photos like this it’s more appropriate to keep your hand on the upper back or shoulder...not wrapped around the waist. It also appears that he’s either pulled her into him or she’s pushing into him.

He’s just creepy. I said that the first time he showed his face.
