Spot on about Herman Cain in NJ Star-Ledger
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain won’t admit it yet, and maybe he can’t even see it, but his 15 minutes are up.

A fourth woman is now accusing him of sexual harassment. And unlike the first three, she stood before the cameras today and described the sordid details...

This accuser will be hard to dismiss. She told her boyfriend, a doctor, about the incident immediately after it occurred. And she told a businessman who was a mentor. Both of them have signed statements verifying that...

Cain can dismiss one or two women as liars, but not a chorus.

Cain is refusing to discuss the issue. But if he thinks he can become president without answering these charges, he is more nuts than he seems.

he's just to egotistical to realize it yet.

once members of his staff start bailing, it will be official.

6. The fact that he hasn't resigned says more about the Republican Party
than it does about Herm. From his viewpoint, he's been rewarded for his bad behavior...why would he resign? I think he'll use the opportunity to double down and use it as an opportunity to solicit more $ for his campaign. I expect he'll play the victim card and blame the media for his problems. His base will, of course, support him - rubes are like that.

8. Funny thing is
The Daily Show showed clips from earlier this decade when Cain was planning a run for Senate, and it was known then that he told his staff to be ready to handle the situation with the restaurant group and the settlement as it was true. Now, 6 or 7 years later, Cain suddenly has no memory of it. Once again, the Daily Show is the best place to get your news.
