7. We could feel it in Kansas City
Waster sloshing in glass, hanging stuff swinging a bit.
It lasted a minute or so.

9. Yes, felt it here in KC - gentle rattling, the cats sat up in bed and looked around
Interesting - we don't get a lot of seismic activity in this part of the world!

14. Faults AND fracking.
We are the home of Chesapeake. You know there has to be fracking going on.
I'm hoping we don't get anything worse until I can call and see about earthquake coverage. LOL

20. Apparently they won't let me add it for a few days until it calms down.
Because if it happens after, there's no way to prove which quake caused it. Luckily we have a wood structure minus brick. Hopefully we'll continue to be lucky and it won't get any worse. But I'm thinking it is going to continue to get exponentially worse. Hopefully FEMA will show up cause I don't have earthquake insurance.

22. I guess that makes sense on the part of the insurers. What if it never calms down? I think
I'll look into this this week.

23. I spoke to Traveler's, just FYI.
And yes, I know who owns them. We're working on getting rid of them. I just have to wait until I have money to send for the penalty.

11. Unfortunately, there may be aftershocks.
The good news is that they are usually less severe but they may happen.

16. Is this the part of the midwest that had that long series of earthquakes in the 1800's?
I can't imagine what something like that would be like now that the area is populated.
