Condoleezza's Tired of Being Stuck in Her Apartment
Everywhere she goes she draws protesters. She can't buy shoes in Italy; she might get arrested. She can't go to Ibiza either; there's no telling what those Spaniards have in mind. And forget about France! I don't exactly feel sorry for her - after all, she chose her friends. But I don't think she planned that she'd still be a pariah three years later.

Don't blame ME, it's not my fault.

8. Considering what she did to enable the slaughter of over
a million human beings, the lies she told (mushroom clouds etc) she is very lucky she is not in jail. In a just society that is where she would be.

I think most people will reserve their sympathy for the loved ones of the dead and the maimed and the tortured.

I guess they thought people would 'move on'. As if it is possible to forget such crimes. They created so many victims, and all of those victims have loved ones who will never forget.

She should have thought about this while she was lying to the American people. I will not forget listening to her lies on the Sunday Talk Shows pushing for an illegal war, trying to hide the fact that they knew this country was about to be attacked and did nothing to stop it.

I hope she isn't looking for sympathy.

52. I must be a masochist then, because Gwen Ifill interviewed her on the News Hour
the other night, and I watched, and it was just so clear from Ifill's facial expressions that she has no respect for Rice. I mean, as always, Gwen was polite, but you could just tell she didn't believe 75% of what Rice was saying.

And then in typical fashion for Rice, she fancies that all the criticism of her is because she's some kind of racial 'touchstone' (her word). I was like, OMG, get over yourself. :puke:

20. As a non-signatory nation...
no US citizen can be tried in the ICC, under the ICC's own rules.

Nope, if the international community wants to try Condy, they've got to convene a war-crimes tribunal...except that will never happen because we'd use our UNSC veto, remember our president wanted to "look forward" and took prosecutions off the table. I mean some indie judge in Spain or France could hold her and try her but the state dept. would have a goddamned fit and for such a high-profile defendant formerly in a US administrative role you can bet we'll pull out the war-drums to bully their government to quash it and the offending magistrate.

No, it's time that we simply grudgingly accept that not one of those motherfuckers will ever see justice. They all have bright futures in the Romney regime except Dick Cheney because he's a fucking zombie.

55. ICC rules says no prosecutions of citizens of non-signatory nations.
So it goes by the citizenship as far as I understand it.

The very reason we refuse to sign it is because they don't want US personnel subject to any non-US court for US military actions.

War criminals now have carte blanche since Ford decided that no high ranking government official like Nixon ever need be prosecuted for crimes that the rest of us would spend the rest of our days in prison for.

The fact that she lives with another women of undefined sexual orientation does not mean that she is hiding the fact that she is gay and I suppose it doesn't matter any more than if she is right or left handed.
